Inspiration!

I haven't turned on my television since Febuary. I had decided not to get the digital converter box and instead live my life sans idiot box. Interestingly enough this was not a deterant to being selected as a Nielson family. I suppose they need to know that TV is a dying medium and people in my demographic increasingly get there informational and entertainment content from the computer. So now I have and idiot plane; which is an affectionate reference to my laptop computer screen. The last four months without TV has been great. I don't miss it at all. I have found all sorts of iteresting things to watch in the hours that used to contain TV watching. This site, TED, is one of my favorites! I gain so much inspiration from this site and actually feel like there is people on top of the problems that we face and are coming up with super creative solutions! It makes me want to do my best and use my creativity and talents to be part of the solution.

What's your bands name dude??!?!!


























A friend of mine posted this on her blog and I thought it was so much fun I wanted to share!

Here’s what you do:

1 - Go to “wikipedia.” Hit “random… Read More”
or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to “Random quotations”
or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 - Use photoshop or similar to put it all together.
